Building a Healthier Community

Programs and Services

West Elgin Community Health Centre is proud to be able to provide a variety of programs and services. We receive funding to support these programs and services from a variety of different sources. Please view our brochure.

Our funding sources provide us with information on whom they want us to provide services to using the money they have provided to us.  This will vary from group to group. For example:

  • The South West LHIN (Local Health Integration Network) provides the bulk of our funding so that we can provide programs and services to people who live in a specific catchment area.  Our catchment area includes the Dutton-Dunwich and West Elgin Municipalities.
  • The Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care provides us with our Diabetes funding so that we may provide Diabetes Education to residents of Elgin County.
