Providing Support.

In a joint relationship with the Arthritis Society, we have an Occupational Therapist who has been specially trained to provide clients with both occupational therapy and physiotherapy services.

She comes to the Centre twice a month, and provides assessment and treatment for daily activities when arthritis limits a person’s ability to function. She also assesses flexibility, strength, mobility and function, and develops an individual program for each client.

Who can Access this Program/Service

• You must live within our catchment area
• You do not have to be a registered client of the Centre to access this service
• You must have a confirmed diagnosis of arthritis
• You can be referred by your health care provider (doctor or nurse practitioner) or you can refer yourself by contacting our Centre at 519-768-1715
