Community transportation is an important service for the health and well-being of our community members, whether it is from home to a doctor’s appointment or to the grocery store. We are very lucky to have some specialized transit services in the Four Counties area.
Many people living in the western end of Elgin County do not have options for transportation outside of their own car, family or friends. The West Elgin Transportation Network and the Four Counties Transit Committee are trying to provide solutions to a need in our communities for those people who don’t have their own car.
The West Elgin Community Health Centre Volunteer Transportation Program
This program provides rides to seniors and disabled adults for a minimal cost. For more information about the West Elgin Transportation Network call 519-768-1715 ext 2210 or if you would like to book a ride call 519-768-0020.
